Modern Slavery 2020

MODERN SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING STATEMENT 2020

This statement is made pursuant to s.54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Sunrise Records and Entertainment Limited (‘Sunrise’) shall take to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chains.

Sunrise are committed to ensuring that its business dealings are carried out in compliance with the relevant laws and, in doing so, Sunrise endorse the implementation and promotion of ethical business practices to protect workers from being abused and exploited.

Modern slavery is a crime and a gross violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

Sunrise shall have a zero‐tolerance approach to modern slavery and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and control to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.

Sunrise are also committed to ensuring there is transparency in our own business and in our approach to tackling modern slavery throughout our supply chains, consistent with our obligations in the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We shall expect the same high standards from all our suppliers, contractors, and other business partners. We shall include in all our agreements with suppliers, specific prohibitions against the use of forced, compulsory or trafficked labour, or anyone held in slavery or servitude, and expect our suppliers to hold their suppliers to the same high standards.
