The 1970s prog rock superstars are captured live in Europe in 2001. The combination of rock band and orchestra has seldom been successful. However, it was long thought that the large, sweeping soundscapes and emphasis on melodic structure in Yes's music may be the exception to the rule. Jon Anderson, Chris Squire, Steve Howe and Alan White re-formed the band in 2001, fulfilling a long-held dream by taking the Yes Symphonic Tour on the road. For the first time ever, the band were accompanied onstage by the European Festival Orchestra, conducted by Willhelm Keitel. Many of the band's best loved tracks are here given the full orchestral treatment, including 'Starship Trooper', 'Roundabout', and 'Long Distance Runaround'.
