Ally McBeal: Complete Seasons 1-5

£49.99

Released: 28th April 2008. Box set containing every episode from all five seasons of the popular comedy drama. In this first season we are introduced to the Unisex (the bathroom they all share). Ally (Calista Flockhart) is living with Renee (Lisa Nicole Carson), still trying to deal with Billy's (Gil Bellows) marriage to someone who is not her, and is forced to come to terms with working with his new wife Georgia (Courtney Thorne-Smith). Richard (Greg Germann) and Whipper (Dyan Cannon) are still together, Elaine (Jane Krakowski) establishes herself as the resident know-it-all tart, and John Cage (Peter MacNicol) is, well, warming up to being John Cage. Episodes comprise: 'Pilot', 'Compromising Positions', 'The Kiss', 'The Affair', 'One Hundred Tears Away', 'The Promise', 'The Attitude', 'Drawing The Lines', 'The Dirty Joke', 'Boy To The World', 'Silver Bells', 'Cro-Magnon', 'The Blame Game', 'Body Language', 'Once In A Lifetime', 'Forbidden Fruits', 'Theme Of Life', 'The Playing Field', 'Happy Birthday, Baby', 'The Inmates', 'Being There', 'Alone Again' and 'These Are The Days'. Season two sees the introduction of icy Nelle Porter (Portia de Rossi), often known as 'sub-zero Nelle', and the tempestuous Ling Woo (Lucy Liu). Their arrival creates an ever-intriguing element of love and hate. Amusing to some but a cause of great anguish to others, both of them capture the hearts of John Cage and Richard Fish leaving Ally McBeal feeling completely irate. Ally's disastrous love affairs continue to take their toll as she continues to be attracted to the wrong people. Episodes comprise: 'The Real World', 'They Eat Horses, Don't They?', 'Fool's Night Out', 'It's My Party', 'Story Of Love', 'Worlds Without Love', 'Happy Trials', 'Just Looking', 'You Never Can Tell', 'Making Spirits Bright', 'In Dreams', 'Love Unlimited', 'Angels And Blimps', 'Pyramids On The Nile', 'Sideshow', 'Sex, Lies And Politics', 'Civil War', 'Those Lips, That Hand', 'Let's Dance', 'Only The Lonely', 'The Green Monster', 'Love's Illusion' and 'I Know Him By Heart'. In season three, what's a girl to do when she's about to turn 30? If you're Ally you'll have a sexual encounter with a stranger, kiss Ling, get sued, defend Santa, date a homeless guy and then decide that John Cage is 'the one'. Meanwhile, John loses touch with his inner Barry White, Billy goes blonde and dumps Georgia, Ling gets arrested for pimping, Richard and Ling break up, Nelle and John kiss and make up while Elaine tries to adopt a baby. Episodes comprise: 'Car Wash', 'Buried Pleasures', 'Seeing Green', 'Heat Wave', 'Troubled Water', 'Changes', 'Saving Santa', 'Blue Christmas', 'Out In The Cold', 'Just Friends', 'Over The Rainbow', 'In Search Of Pygmies', 'Pursuit Of Loneliness', 'The Oddball Parade', 'Prime Suspect', 'Boy Next Door', 'I Will Survive', 'Turning Thirty', 'Do You Wanna Dance?', 'Hope And Glory' and 'Ally McBeal - The Musical, Almost'. Season four sees the arrival of the gorgeous Larry Paul (Robert Downey Jr.). Could Ally have finally found her true love? Episodes comprise: 'Sex, Lies and Second Thoughts', 'Two's a Crowd', 'Girls Night Out', 'Without a Net', 'The Last Virgin', ''Tis the Season', 'Love on Holiday', 'The Man with the Bag', 'Reasons to Believe', 'The Ex-Files', 'Mr. Bo', 'Hats Off to Larry', 'Reach Out and Touch', 'Boys Town', 'Falling Up', 'The Getaway', 'The Pursuit Of Unhappiness', 'The Obstacle Course', 'In Search Of Barry White', 'Cloudy Skies', 'Queen Bee', 'Home Again', 'The Wedding' and 'Chance Of Parade'. Finally, season five features the introduction of Jon Bon Jovi as a love interest, and a daughter (Hayden Panettiere) for Ally. Episodes comprise: 'Friends and Lovers', 'Judge Ling', 'Neutral Corners', 'Fear of Flirting', 'I Want Love', 'Lost and Found', 'Playing With Matches', 'Blowin' in the Wind', 'One Hundred Tears', 'A Kick in the Head', 'The New Day', 'Woman', 'Home Coming', 'Heart and Soul', 'Love is all Around', 'Tom Dooley', 'Another One Bites the Dust', 'Reality Bites', 'All of Me' and 'Bygones'.
