The story of the legendary triple Formula 1 world champion, whose phenomenal career was cut so tragically short at Imola in 1994. Making his debut in kart racing, the gifted Brazilian finally moved up to Formula 1 in 1984, winning six races over the next three seasons. His move to McLaren-Honda in 1988 sowed the seeds for one of the greatest rivalries in motor sport, when he was teamed alongside Frenchman Alain Prost. It was while he was at McLaren that he enjoyed his greatest success, winning the world championship three times. After moving to Williams Renault in 1994, he suffered a fatal crash at the third race of the season at the San Marino Grand Prix.
