Taylor Swift discography

From best-selling party-pop anthems to dramatic breakup ballads and inspirational country songs, Taylor Swift covers a wide range in her discography.

Taylor Swift (2006)

Go back to old-school, country Taylor with her debut album that features chart-topping hit songs that kick-started her career like 'Our Song' and 'Should've Said No'. Whether you go for vinyl or CD, this is the perfect gift for the original Taylor Swift fan who has followed her from the beginning or the recent convert looking to go back to the start.

H3: Fearless (2008)

T-Swift dropped this masterpiece just a few weeks shy of her 19th birthday in 2008. She wrote seven out of the 13 songs herself, including 'You Belong With Me'. Fearless is one of the most-honoured country albums ever and is likely what started your love story with Taylor Swift's music.

Speak Now (2010)

Marking her transition from country to a more pop sound, Speak Now combines influences from power pop, pop rock and country pop. Released when Taylor Swift was just 20 years old, the album features popular songs like 'Mean' and 'Innocent'.

Red (2012)

Taking a more mature and personal focus, Taylor Swift's fourth record heralded the release of hits such as 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' and 'I Knew You Were Trouble'. It also features collaborations from Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody and, on 'Begin Again', Ed Sheeran.

1989 (2014)

You'll probably recognise Taylor Swift bangers like 'Shake It Off', 'Wildest Dreams' and 'Blank Space' from this collection. It's one of her most critically acclaimed albums, winning Grammys for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.

Reputation (2017)

Inspired by Game of Thrones and her public feuds with other celebrities, Reputation went four times platinum and earned T-Swift a Grammy. This album took a different approach than her previous efforts and is darker and more unapologetic in tone.

Lover (2019)

Songs from Taylor Swift's seventh album are a mix of folk, country and pop sounds, including chart-toppers 'Cruel Summer' and 'You Need To Calm Down'. Swift describes this album as a love letter to her fans.

Folklore (2020)

One of two albums written during the Covid-19 lockdowns, Folklore takes on a more folk-rock style with mellow ballads galore and character-driven writing. Taylor Swift collaborates with giants of the indie rock sphere such as Bon Iver, who features on 'Exile'.

Evermore (2020)

Another lockdown masterpiece from Taylor Swift, delivered as a sister record to Folklore. Critics praised its eclectic but confident blend of indie rock and pop, with highlights including 'Champagne Problems' and the Haim-assisted 'No Body, No Crime'.

Midnights (2022)

The return of classic autobiographical songwriting and heartbreak anthems. The chart-topping 'Anti-Hero' joined the pantheon of all-time great Taylor Swift songs, while this synth-heavy album sold more than six million copies worldwide and won the Grammy for Album of the Year.

Taylor's Versions (2021 & 2023)

In between making new albums and embarking on ambitious tours, Taylor Swift somehow found time to release re-recordings of her older discography. During 2021 and 2023, Swift re-released albums Fearless, Red, Speak Now and 1989, all branded as 'Taylor's Version' and including a selection of previously unreleased songs from those eras.
