US thriller written and directed by debut film-maker Anne Hamilton. In 1982, eleven-year-old Gitty (Peyton Kennedy) is afraid her dad Abe (Kip Pardue) will lose the family farm and they'll be forced to move out of their long-time home in rural Wisconsin. But events take a strange turn when Gitty discovers an old man living in the locked and unused silo her dad warned her not to go near. While bringing him food to eat and books to read, Gitty strikes up a friendship with the man called Jonathan (Richard Schiff) and learns he's a wealthy real estate developer buying up farms in the area. Torn between helping her new friend and potentially damaging her family, Gitty finds herself gradually drawn into a strange, fantasy world.
