Deluxe 25th anniversary edition of Robbie Williams' 1997 debut solo album 'Life Thru a Lens'. The album originally entered the UK chart at No. 11 but had to wait almost six months before it reached No. 1, eventually spending 147 weeks in the Top 100 and being certified 8 x Platinum by the BPI for UK sales in excess of 2 million copies. The album includes the hit singles 'Old Before I Die' (No. 2), 'Lazy Days' (No. 8), 'South of the Border' (No. 14), 'Let Me Entertain You' (No. 3) and 'Angels' (No. 4), the latter being his biggest selling single to date, and voted the best song of the last 25 years at the 2005 BRIT Awards. This 4-disc set brings together the original album with bonus tracks and B-sides from the five singles lifted from it, along with tracks associated with Robbie's (non-album) debut single 'Freedom' (UK No. 2, August 1996). The third disc contains previously unreleased demo recordings, alongside rehearsal recordings and rare remixes. Disc 4 contains a first release on audio format for the complete concert recorded at the Forum in north London on 3 June 1998, released that November as 'Live in Your Living Room' on VHS tape and VCD but never reissued.
